Worden:Citations
How to cite material from this wiki
See http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?HowToCiteWiki for one perspective on this.
This wiki is a publication, entitled Lee Worden Research Wiki.
The publisher is Theobio Lab, McMaster University.
A wiki page is equivalent to a journal article, and its title is the page title.
Authors should be determined as well as possible from the page's authors. It may be necessary to distinguish true authors from contributors of minor edits, or it may be better to include all editors of the page as authors.
Publication date is probably the last modification date of the page. (But note that a page may include WorkingWiki project files that are made from content that was edited more recently than the page itself was. See WorkingWiki bug #3312886.)
The citation should also include the date the page was retrieved, and the page's URL. It may be desirable to link directly to the revision retrieved, using the history listing to find the URL for that revision (but see WorkingWiki feature request #3103389).
Thus, for example, a citation might be:
[Word 11] Worden, Lee. Consensus Project Results. Lee Worden Research Wiki. November 9, 2011. <http://lalashan.mcmaster.ca/theobio/worden/index.php/Consensus_Project_Results>. Retrieved November 23, 2011.
